Graphic Illustrations

College Projects

For my Uni project the brief was on Graphic Illustration.
I recreated a body of a dancer by illustrating the Poem by
Isador Duncan “ The dancer’s body is simply the luminous
manifestation of the soul.”
The first draft was roughly created to fit all the words on it.

The final Design was created on Illusttration first to draw the
words around the dancer and later used Photoshop to give a
more dramatic effect for the dancers movement.

Semiotics Project

Semiotics is the study of sign processes, which are any
activity, conduct, or process that involves signs, where a sign
is defined as anything that communicates a meaning that is
not the sign itself to the sign’s interpreter.
Common examples of semiotics include traffic signs, emojis,
and emoticons used in electronic communication, and logos
and brands used by international corporations to sell us
things—”brand loyalty,” they call it.

This was a Graphic Concept Project in Uni. I chose the topic
Semiotics to educate people on the study of signs. I chose 3
Symbols – Elephant, Heart, and a Cross. An Elephant when
interpreted in different ways, it can be a sign of a heavy bulk,
it is a sign of an Animal and also different cultures see it as a
sign of loyalty.

Ambassador Car Typography

When I had to design a Typography for my College Project,
The Ambassador Car came to mind immediately. The
Ambasaddor Car has been my first car pool ride in school.
It was an old car with so many functions that intrigued me as
a child. It had a small window that could be opened in the
Front seats, Curtains could be intalled, a mini version of what
we probably had at homes and even a fan was inside.

As I got to see The Ambasaddor Car less in time, the model
still inspired me. With so much charater and design elements
to it, I wanted to design the Typography with memory I had of
it.
The typography was primarily focused on the classic rims of
the car and the unique curves of the model. The final
typography design represented the classy and vintage look
of The Ambassador Car of its era.
